Hakka Abacas seeds 客家算盘子 is a Hakka traditional dish. The yam abacas are handmade piece by piece to resemble the little seeds on the traditional abacas. It represents reunion and signifies wealth and prosperity.
The abacas seeds are made with thailand yam and tapioca flour. The texture is soft on the outside and chewy on the inside. Its fried with dried shrimp and mushroom. Super flavorful and traditional.

To Reheat (Ready to eat pack):

To Cook Frozen Pack:
1. Fully thaw in water
2. Separate the abacas seeds into individual pieces
3. Oil the pan, fry some garlic
4. Add in ingredients that you want: Eg. Minced Pork, Dried cuttlefish, Dried mushroom, Dried Shrimps, Scallops, Black fungus. Fry till fragrant.
5. Add in abacas. Fry till abacas are soft
6. Add seasonings
7. Add Garnish. Ready to serve.
