Hakka Abacas seeds 客家算盘子 is a Hakka dish. The yam abacas are handmade piece by piece to make it round and resembles the seeds in an abacas as it represents reunion and signifies wealth and prosperity.
Its made from yam and tapioca flour. The texture is soft on the outside and chewy on the inside. Its fried with dried shrimp and mushroom. Super flavorful and traditional.
