    Steamed Egg Cake is a traditional sponge cake that is light, fluffy and aromatic. Thus its good to serve as breakfast as well as during tea break anytime any day.  Simple ingredients consisting of only eggs, flour and sugar. Its also a popular cake that old grannies will make for praying to ancestors during festive celebrations. Best served warm to maintain the moisture in the steamed cake. Add a scoop of ice cream and serve it as a dessert!
